Meet the Team
For as long as I can remember I have subscribed to the notion that surrounding myself with great people will improve my work and broaden my perspective. The necessity to that notion into practice whenever I pick a story or put together a crew is what originally attracted me to documentary work. Today, I am invested in the power of documentary as a platform for change, empathy and entertainment. Every member of this team left their mark on this project and every part of Lonnie’s story left a heavy impression on us.
Documentary work, when done correctly, can be one of the most beautiful and effective forms of communication there is, and I am drawn to that challenge. That is why I do what I do. I’ve spent most of my professional life in the corporate world, but I am always willing to delve into new creative outlets that force me to expand my skill set. Outside of trying to figure out how to best tell a story, I’ve been spending my twenties playing in bands never heard of, becoming more familiar with the U.S. Forest Service, pretending that drinking good beer is a hobby, and accumulating air miles.
